Attract a Predictable Stream of Quality Clients

My friend Virginia Muzquiz may be the best referrer I know. She’s a referral machine — and a great resource for anyone who wants to grow their business through referrals.

Last week, Virginia released a The Referral Alchemy Report — a free resource that reveals how to attract a predictable stream of quality clients — without paid ads, complicated funnels, or wasted hours on social media.

I downloaded my copy yesterday and read it cover-to-cover.

I recommend it!

How to Be Creative Even if You Don’t Think You Have It In You

New on The Story Power Marketing Show podcast:

Stever Robbins.

Stever Robbins has been an executive coach, entrepreneur, and co-designer of the Harvard MBA program.

His iTunes business podcast The Get-it-Done Guy was a top-10 podcast for much of its 2007-2020 run. He has written three books, and co-written a musical about personal productivity.

Stever holds degrees from MIT, Harvard Business School, and is a Master Trainer Elite of Neuro-linguistic Programming.

Discussed in this Episode:

  • How to create a flood of creative content – even if you’re not a “creative unicorn.”
  • Why people lose the creative spark (and how to avoid that fate).
  • How to summon the courage to behave as you wish, not as others expect.
  • How to capture and record your creative insights so you don’t lose track of them later.
  • The importance of committing to an idea and seeing it through.

Here’s an excerpt video

The Marketing Advocate is Daily(ish) Goodness

Adam Kreitman is one of the great email writers on the planet. If you like my emails, thank Adam because I’ve drawn lots of inspiration from him.

When he pressed pause on his daily emails, I mourned.

Now I celebrate because he’s back — with a new “daily(ish)” email called The Marketing Advocate.

He creates the emails with his business partners who are marketing wizards.

Here’s how they describe The Marketing Advocate:

“Always entertaining and chock full of actionable info, this free newsletter focuses on helping biz owners, execs and marketers navigate the machine learning, AI-infested digital marketing waters that (for better AND worse) we’re all living in these days.”

I received the first few emails and devoured them. You can too…

Why You Should Focus on the Hard Thing First

I love everything I read by Annie Duke. She’s a professional poker champion turned business consultant and author. In this post from her blog, she talks about monkeys vs. pedestals, a problem-solving model.

Powerful advice for all of us as we decide how to prioritize and focus.

Words to Ponder…
…From the Greatest Daredevil

When I was a kid, I loved Evel Knievel. I wouldn’t call him a role model. But I skinned a few elbows, jumping my bike off homemade ramps.

Today (October 17) would have been his 84th birthday. He said this…

“If you fall during your life, it doesn’t matter. You’re never a failure as long as you try to get up.”

Don't go away yet..

p.s. Coaches, authors, and consultants hire me to power-up their creative content and storytelling to captivate prospects, stand-out and book more business.
