I’m a big fan of Austin Kleon and his books (“Steal Like an Artist,” “Keep Going,” and “Show Your Work.”) Here’s a great article from Nice News that will give Austin Kleon newbies an idea of what he’s all about.
In the article, Kleon shares advice for embracing creativity in everyday life. He encourages redefining the term “amateur” to its original meaning—doing something for the love of it—and offers tips like establishing a “bliss station” to create dedicated time and space for creative pursuits.

The Boron Letters by Gary Halbert
I’ve been re-reading this book over the last week and remembering how much I love it.
Gary Halbert is a great writer — among the all-timers. In this book, he shares “everything he knows” about business and life with his son Bond.
Be sure to get the version updated by Bond Halbert. It contains an introduction and chapter-by-chapter commentary by Bond.
Good golly, this is great book, and Bond’s commentary makes it even bette!

Mastermind Book Club – April 26
Speaking of Bond Halbert, he’s not as famous as his dad. But he’s a great marketer and copywriter, and he has a lot of insight about Gary and this book.
He’ll be the special guest this Thursday, April 24 (2:30 p.m. ET) when the Mastermind Book Club meets to discuss “The Boron Letters.”
Every month, Ted Prodromou and I choose a great book for members to read. We meet live on Zoom on the fourth Thursday to discuss how we can apply the book’s lessons to our businesses.
You can join the Club for free here. Club Members receive the Zoom link by email before the meeting.
