Pot Peddler Takes Product Demos to New Highs

Ripped from the headlines…

…another story for the “you can’t make this stuff up” file…

Last month, government killjoys in Baltimore shut down a dispensary after a surprise inspection revealed illegal try-before-you-buy activity.

Turns out Cookies dispensary fired up free samples – token tokes – for anyone strolling by. 

According to the shut-down notice, the inspector saw, “…large plumes of medical cannabis smoke being blown from a large gun aparatus into the mouths of persons outside the dispensary.” 💨 💨 💨

(And I thought the free samples at Costco were fun!) 

Anyhoo… there seems to be a law against that. So Cookies’ client-attraction strategy has crumbled. 

What does this mean for you and your business? 

Let’s start with the obvious: Don’t dish out free samples of controlled substances. The government frowns on that. 

But here’s the more applicable lesson…

Try-before-you-buy draws prospects in.

That’s true for dispensaries.

That’s true for you.

Prove you’re the real deal (not blowing smoke 🤪), and prospects will gobble up your products or services like Oreos at a bong-fest.
