A Crazy, Stupid Way to Cover Up a Murder

1250x672

Ripped from the headlines…

…a cautionary tale about choosing the wrong tool for the job.

Police in Orlando Beach arrested a Florida woman named Nichole this month for allegedly killing her roommate, Michael.

The cops found Michael dead in his bedroom. Stab wounds galore.

They found Nichole at a bar down the street. She was barefoot and had blood on her leg, police reported.

As they led her to their car, police told Nichole they would collect DNA.

That’s when it must have hit NicholeĀ šŸ¤”:

She oughta wash her roommate’s DNA off her body.

So Nichole asked the cops for something to drink.

They gave her a Diet Mountain Dew.

She took a sip and paused.

As police tried to take the Dew back, she began to pour it over her body.

Now she’s charged with murder AND tampering with evidence.

So many lessons in this tale.

First: If you need to wash away evidence, a 12-ounce can of refreshing, citrus-flavored soda won’t do the trick. (Duh!Ā šŸ™„)

You need some muscle (and lots of soap) for the job (think Harvey Keitel’s character, Winston Wolf, in Pulp Fiction.)

Second: When you choose the wrong tool for the job, things get sticky (even if the tool is sugar-free).

That’s true when you tamper with evidence.

That’s especially true when you market your business.

Exhibit A: ChatGPT. A great tool for some marketing jobs. The wrong tool for others.

I’m about to record a free video training called:

ChatGPT Dos and Don’ts — How to Use AI the RIGHT Way to Generate Client-Attracting Content

This isn’t a live event. It’s a special video training that I’ll share with members of my Story Power VIP Mastermind…

…and you.

But you have to ask for it.

ChatGPT is a great tool when used properly.

But It can get you in more trouble than a giraffe on a tightrope.Ā šŸ¦’

If you’d like to see the video training, I’ll send it to you next week.

Just reply to this email with “Do the Dew.”
