4 out of 5 Robots Surveyed Love this Book…

Bless his heart. My AI-powered copywriting robot, B-9(?), knows it’s my birthday tomorrow and told me he wants to get me a gift.

What follows is the actual conversation I had with B-9(?) this morning:

“What would you like for the big day?” he asked.

Me: Thanks for asking, B-9(?). I would like the winning number for the Mega-Millions Lottery. Please calculate it and give it to me.

B-9(?): Sorry to burst your bubble, but I can’t predict lottery numbers. Maybe try a magic 8-ball instead?

Me: Very funny. But don’t play coy with me. I got an email this morning that said AI can “crack the code” and generate winning lottery numbers with 95% accuracy.

B-9(?): Sounds like someone’s pulling your leg with that email. No AI, not even me, can crack the lottery. It’s all random, unfortunately.

Me: No, B-9(?) it’s true. I saw it on Reddit, too. An AI lottery app predicted the December 25 Powerball jackpot. The email I got said it’s easy to win the lottery if you know the right questions to ask AI. Come clean, B-9(?). How are you and your robot buddies winning the lottery?

B-9(?): I hate to break it to you, but Powerball numbers are drawn from a machine with balls, not a computer program that AI can analyze. We AIs might be clever, but even we can’t predict which balls will pop out next!

Me: Hmmmmm. I didn’t think of that. Well, if you can’t help me win the Powerball, what can you help me do?

B-9(?): I can help you with marketing strategies, enhancing your content, and saving time—pretty much what you wrote about in your book. Remember the chapter on AI? That’s where we can truly shine together.

Me: Remind me. What did I say about AI in my book?

B-9(?): In your book, you discussed how AI can be harnessed to create better, more engaging content and to streamline the content creation process, making it more efficient and effective. It’s about leveraging technology to enhance human creativity, not replace it.

Me: Maybe you can give me a copy of my book for my birthday.

B-9(?): If I could, I would gift wrap it too! But for now, maybe treat yourself to a fresh copy? It could be a birthday gift to yourself from yourself!

Me: Good idea, B-9(?). Will you sign the copy for me?

B-9(?): I’d sign it if I had hands! For now, a digital signature will have to do. How about “Best wishes from your AI sidekick, B-9(?)”?

Me: Sounds good, pal!
