I ran across this brain teaser on social media the other day…

The guy who posted the puzzler said many grade-schoolers solved it in less than 10 seconds.

“Easy-peasy,” I thought. “I graduated grade school!”

So I gazed at the puzzle and pondered…

…and pondered…

…and pondered…

…and pondered…

…and stared at the ceiling…

…and pondered…

…and cursed…

…and gave up.
