Why Hunting For a Better Marketing Tool is a Waste of Time

If you want to convert leads to clients…


Email doesn’t work. 


Neither does text. 


Same goes for video


So says a frustrated consultant who posted a cry for help on Facebook


“​​20 years in business, I don’t remember ever it being this hard to connect with prospects. Text and email, videos, and articles don’t seem to help at all,” says the consultant. “Does anybody have any answers to what is working?”


This is a common refrain from frustrated business people. 


“I tried email. Didn’t work.” 


“I tried text. Didn’t work.” 


“I tried video. Didn’t work.”


“Please, please, please tell me which TOOL works.” 


Here’s the problem with that nonsense…


It assumes you’re dishing out inspiring, captivating content. 

It’s like saying, “I use Powerpoint to deliver my sales presentation and no one buys. Obviously, Powerpoint doesn’t work!” 

Or maybe this: “I deliver my sales presentations in English, and no one buys. English doesn’t work. Does anyone know which language I should use to deliver successful sales presentations?” 

Maybe you’re not getting any sales because your sales presentation sucks. 

Maybe no one’s responding to your emails, texts, or videos because your content sucks. 


Now, before you get all huffy, take a deep breath and think about it.
