When I was a kid, I’d travel every year to visit my grandparents who lived just across the Hudson River from Manhattan.

My favorite thing to do in Manhattan: Go to the old Madison Square Garden to see Barnum & Bailey’s Circus.

P.T. Barnum and his partners launched the circus on this day (March 28) in 1881.

They dubbed it “THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH.”

Now that’s a slogan that gets your attention!
