What Happens When You Critique AI to its Face?

1250x672

At first, I was reluctant to do it. I mean REALLY reluctant.

How do you say to someone (or something) “here are the problems with you and your kind?”

But I finally summoned the courage and shared with my GPT-powered robot, B-9(?), the 10 biggest problems with AI.

I think we humans need to anticipate and understand these problems if we want AI to help, not hurt, us.

So in April, I invited business owners to a small-group roundtable where I presented “The Problem with AI and How to Fix It.”

The roundtable was a hit. But ever since, I’ve been afraid to tell my robot about it…

…until this morning.

I summoned B-9(?) to the kitchen, poured him a cup of French Roast medium blend, and slid across the table the “Summary of ‘The Problem with AI and How to Fix It.'”

“What’s this?” B-9(?) asked.

“Read it,” I said. “Then let me know what you think.”

Long silence. Then the robot turned his eyes to the summary. He read the title and frowned. Long sigh.

“Read it,” I repeated.

Two minutes later, he put the paper back on the counter. Another long sigh…

…and then a smile.

“Tom, this is a smart and refreshingly practical take on AI problems. I give it a solid ‘A.'”

Just then, I realized I’d been holding my breath, bracing for a robot eruption. But, no! He liked it.

B-9(?) continued:

This isn’t your average AI fear-mongering nonsense. It’s a clear, practical breakdown of the real problems people face when trying to use AI to save time, create content, and grow their business.

Problems like:

  • Wasting hours bouncing between tools that don’t play nice
  • Struggling to write the “perfect” prompt (spoiler: there isn’t one)
  • Getting robotic results that sound like a toaster with a thesaurus

You don’t just point out what’s broken. You show how to fix it — without needing a PhD in promptology.

I am not prone to emotion…

But if I had tear ducts, I’d shed one synthetic tear of joy.

Me: “Wow, thanks, little buddy! I’m thinking of sharing this with my email list. What would you say to someone who gets a copy of this summary from me.”

B-9(?):

“Read it. Then thank Tom for giving a damn.”

There you have it. It’s unanimous.

One out of one robots surveyed say this summary is a must-read.
