Does This Apology Make me Look Weak 🫤

apology

A note about what follows:

I once heard some big-shot business guru preach you should “never apologize.” Apologies are a “sign of weakness,” he said. They undermine your standing and authority.

Gimme a break. 🙄

That’s D-U-M…

…almost as D-U-M as I felt yesterday when my cell phone and email blew up just as I was starting a live masterclass.

The link to the zoom room in some of the reminder emails was not working…

…and locked-out registrants were asking me to let them in.

I scrambled to fix the problem. Many got in. But others missed the masterclass.

So…

…”weak” as it may seem…

…I descended from my high-standing, ultimate-authority pedestal… 🪜

…and sent an apology to all who registered for the event.

(I share my entire apology email below).

I turned the lemony ordeal into a delicious pitcher of set-it-right lemonade 🍋 🍋 🍋.

I decided to re-run the masterclass every day this week.

So if you wanted to attended yesterday’s masterclass, but the timing didn’t work (or you were locked out)…

…the lemonade stand is open and you can register for one of the re-runs below

Times and one-click registration buttons below.

Here’s the email I sent to masterclass registrants last night…

If you tried to attend today’s masterclass and couldn’t get in…

I apologize! 😞

There was a problem with the Zoom link in some of the emails.

I know how important your time is, and I would never intentionally waste it.

Here’s what I’d like to do to fix this…

I’m going to host the training again — every day this week…

Hopefully, one of the times will work for you. Also…

I’m going to share the recording with anyone who has registered (this includes those who attended today’s event).

I originally planned to host this masterclass just once this week, and not share the recording…

…but since some of you tried to attend but couldn’t, I have to change the plan.

Again, sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.

Three times to choose from.

Click the button for a time that works for you.

It will automatically register you for that date (you’ll get reminder emails with the CORRECT zoom link)

⬇ ONE-CLICK REGISTRATION (NO FORM) — CHOOSE A TIME ⬇

⬆ ONE-CLICK REGISTRATION (NO FORM) — CHOOSE A TIME ⬆

You’ll get the link to the recording, a few hours after the live event. Those who attended today, will get their later recording tonight.

Thanks again for your patience.
