Farm-living Ain’t The Place for You
“Ever got to the stage with marketing when you just want to quit it all and live on a farm?”
So asked “Jason” on Reddit last week.
And the crowd went wild.
There are a lot of frustrated marketers out there, ready to trade in their laptops and online real estate for hoes and green acres.
I see a common theme among these wannabe farmers:
They think the game is rigged.
It’s beyond their control. AI-powered monsters have sapped the creativity and humanity from the game. It’s a soulless numbers game now. Bots run the show, and there’s nothing us humans can do about it.
My response: If you really believe that, enjoy the farm…
…while the rest of us adapt and win.
Here’s the truth: AI has changed the game. By making it easier for everyone to flood the world with content, AI has made it harder for you to stand out.
Therein lies your opportunity.
When times get tough, most pack it in. They stop trying because they assume they’ll lose. They scale back. They stop investing. They stop trying. They quit it all and live on a farm.
As their competitors retreat, forward thinking companies forge ahead and win.
Following the 1981-82 recession, a McGraw-Hill study revealed brands that continued to advertise during the recession experienced 256% higher sales than their competitors who stopped.
This happens every time there’s a recession. This happens every time a disruptive force shakes the market.
And holy earthquake, Batman, AI and other forces are shaking the market right now!
So riddle me this, dear business owner…
Are you going to pack it in and head for the farm or forge ahead and win?
The ones who win won’t be the ones with the best AI tools. Everyone has those.
Your job isn’t to out-AI the machines. It’s to out-human them.
Tell real stories. Show real personality. Make real connections.
Do the one thing the bots can’t — be genuinely, unmistakably you.
Right now, while your competitors are shopping for overalls, you have a massive opportunity to stand out and win.
If you’re wondering how to out-human the bots so you can rise above as the human to hire in your niche, see the p.s. below. I would love to help you.
