A Simple Way to Boost Attendance at Your Events

1250x672

If you host webinars, workshops, or other live events, here’s a great way to increase the attendance rate:

Automatically email a calendar invitation to registrants so the event shows up in their calendar and they’re less likely to miss it.

It’s easy to send such invitations when we create an event in Google, Outlook, or some other calendar application. Create the event, enter the guests’ email addresses, and click save/send.

But most webinar systems do not automatically send calendar invitations. You might add an “add to calendar” link in your confirmation email, but few guests click that link and save the event to their calendars.

With just a little bit of tech wizardry, though, you can trigger automatic invitations so registrants see the event on their calendars moments after they sign up.

When I implemented this for my webinars, I immediately saw a double-digit boost in attendance rates.

I shot a video that shows you how to do it.

If you want more people to show up at your events, this video is for you.

Reply “better attendance,” and I’ll send you the link.
