The Problem with AI and How to Fix It
I’m hosting a special roundtable for business leaders on Friday (12:30 p.m. ET) called “The Problem with AI and How to Fix It.” If you want in, clickĀ hereĀ (instant registration, no form to fill out). If you want to learn more about why I’m doing this (and whether it’s for you), read on for a cautionary tale with an important business lesson…
A cold email slithered into my inbox this morning and opened like this:
Hi Tom,
I hope youāre having a great day so far!
I love the look & feel of Story Power Marketing. You really look the part.
Holy Auto-Generated-BS, Batman. Iām already turned off.
I āreally look the part!?ā What the huck-finn does that mean?
The email went on to pitch an appointment-setting service that will help me āsolve client acquisition online forever!ā
And, just in case I was feeling skeptical (was I ever!), the email noted:
By the way, this isnāt an automated message⦠I’m not blasting you from some random AI software haha.
You remember that guy in high school who used to tell the dumbest jokes and then laugh at them (āhaha haha hahaā)ā¦
ā¦while everyone just sat their, stone-faced, feeling sorry for him?
Yeah, Cold-Email-Guy reminds me of Dumb-Joke-Guyā¦
ā¦except Iām not feeling sorry for Cold-Email-Guy.
Iām just annoyed by him. He makes me shiver. And Iām moving on.
Hereās are two questions for you:
- How do you create content that attracts more and better prospects and turns them into clients ā rather than content that annoys and repels them?
- How do you do it quickly and efficiently (no writerās block or constantly feeling stuck) while not coming off as a robotic, insincere pest?
I love automated messages (when done right). You must automate your marketing if you want to generate enough to drive sales while NOT working your tail off.
I love AI (when done right). You can save hundreds (maybe thousands of hours) if you harness AI (properly) to help you market your business.
On Friday at 12:30 p.m. ET, Iām hosting a small-group roundtable for business leaders who want to get it rightā¦
ā¦who want to attract more and better prospects and turn them into clientsā¦
ā¦and harness technology ā including AI ā to do it quickly without coming off as a robotic, insincere pest.
Iām calling it āThe Problem with AI and How to Fix Itā
Iāll reveal ways you can use marketing automation and AI to show up not as the slithering pest, but as the welcome guest (thanks, Dan Kennedy, for that Pest vs. Guest thing; it boils marketing down to its essence).
And Iāll share AI tools I use every day to get more clients ā while saving so much time.
If you want to stand out as the human to hire in your niche (without working your tail off to get there), join me on Friday.
ClickĀ hereĀ to save your seat (Instant, one-click registration. No form to fill out).
