Make Sure Your Emails Are Configured Properly

I recently installed an extension in my Chrome browser called Email Detective that can check any email in my inbox and tell me whether the technical stuff is right. You don’t need to know what “SPF,” “DKIM” and “DMARC” are. But you need to make sure you (or someone helping you) configured those things right for the domain you use to send emails.

If you don’t have it right, Google, Microsoft, Apple, and others may block your emails.

With Email Detective, you can click in any email — including ones you’ve sent to yourself — and instantly see whether “SPF,” “DKIM,” and “DMARC” are properly configured.

If they are not configured properly, make it your #1 priority to get that fixed — if you want people on your list to see your emails.
