A split-screen video call shows a man and a woman smiling. The man, in a white shirt, sits in front of bookshelves. The woman, wearing pink, speaks into a microphone with plants and windows behind her. A podcast logo is at the top.

⛔ 404, the story of a page not found

Two reasons I love this video:

1) It’s a TED talk that lasts less than 5 minutes. Not the typical 18-minute journey

2) It offers some funny, yet valuable advice.

We all hate 404 pages, but Renny Gleeson shows why that moment of frustration is actually a brand opportunity in disguise. This short, funny talk reveals how even small “mistakes” can deepen trust, spark delight, and remind people why they should love you.

A man giving a presentation stands in front of a screen showing a Page not found error message with a sad dog image and text. The YouTube play button appears in the center of the image.

⚠️ New York to require social media platforms to display mental health warnings

New York has passed a law that will force social media companies to show mental health warning labels on apps with features like infinite scrolling, autoplay and algorithmic feeds, especially to protect young users.

Governor Kathy Hochul framed the requirement as similar to health warnings on products like tobacco, saying it’s part of a broader effort to address youth mental health concerns.

The law allows the state attorney general to fine platforms up to $5,000 per violation. It applies to platforms used in New York, though not to usage outside the state, and major companies haven’t publicly weighed in yet.

What do you think of this law? Reply and let me know.

📚 The Delegation Trap

I read (and loved) this book by Atiba de Souza when it was published in August. I’m re-reading it now as I plan for 2026.

A person crouches inside a hanging birdcage on a book cover titled The Delegation Trap. Subtitle: Its not them, its you. Author: Atiba De Souza. The words ITS YOU are circled.

Most business owners launch their companies seeking freedom, only to discover they’ve become the single point of failure. They’re clocking 60+ hour weeks, fielding every question, correcting every error, and puzzled why their staff “can’t think the way they do.” The reality is simple: Your team doesn’t think like you because you never showed them your thought process.

“The Delegation Trap” fixes that. Atiba de Souza introduces The C.A.S.E. Method—a battle-tested 4-question system that transfers your decision-making approach, not merely your to-do list. Set aside everything you’ve learned about procedures and standard operating protocols. True delegation isn’t instruction-giving. It’s training people to think independently.
