Workshop for Small Business Coaches and Consultants
My friend Ann Carden is a great at helping small business people — especially coaches and consultants — scale their businesses. On Jan. 8-9, she’s running a free live virtual workshop to help coaches and consultants “scale beyond $500k in 2024 with exclusive high-fee group programs, a few client hours a month, and working from anywhere worldwide.”

Angel Flying to Close to the Ground
Last night, Melissa and I watched “Willie Nelson’s 90th Birthday Celebration.” It was a concert at the Hollywood Bowl — featuring well-known artists performing Willie’s best-loved songs. A highlight: Willie’s son Lukas performing the Willie song I love best, “Angel Flying to Close to the Ground.”
Today that song is a 44-year-old classic. In 1979 it was brand new.
Here’s a video of Willie performing it on Austin City Limits, before the song had been released.
