You Won’t Believe What These Cows Learned to Do…
Remember that scene in “Meet the Parents” when Jack Byrnes (Robert DeNiro) claims he potty trained his cat, Mr. Jinx?
Funny…
…because it’s outrageous…
…or so it seemed.
Ripped from the headlines:
Scientists in Germany Have Potty Trained Cows
In a project dubbed “MooLoo Training,” scientists awarded a yummy treat to calves that peed in a pen. After 45 minutes of training, 16 calves had learned to pee in the pen, not the pasture.
The pens drain to a collection bin. And scientists convert the cow pee to fertilizer.
Left to their untrained devices, cows pollute the planet with their pee and poo.
But the calf in this video pollutes no more…
I heard about this story from my GPT-powered copywriting robot, “B-9?” when I asked him to share some weird news stories.
(Hint: Robots offer a limitless supply of story ideas — if you know how to ask them.)
Later, I asked “B-9?” to draw some business lessons from this story.
He mentioned the predictable points about innovation (“innovative solutions can arise in unexpected sectors.”) And then he said this:
“The adaptability of cows in the study reflects the importance of adaptability in business strategies, particularly in response to changing environmental regulations or market demands.”
In other words…
If a cow can learn to use the loo, you can adapt to business challenges you face.Ā
Very inspiring!
The next challenge for scientists? How to milk a cat…
Don't go away yet..
