Weekend Plans

My college pal Meredith occasionally posts her “Weekend Plans” on Facebook on Fridays. Funny memes. Weird old photos. Old ads.

Like this:

Or this…

Alas, I don’t have lard in the cupboard…

…and decapitation ain’t my thing…

…so I have other weekend plans.

Melissa, crazy-doodle Moose, and I will head to our country place in Missouri’s Ozark hills.

I’m going to sit down next to this (Huzzah Creek):

…and I’m going to re-read this:

“Roadblocks You Can’t Ignore! – 10 Roadblocks Holding You Back From The Freedom You Deserve From Your Business.”

One of the book’s promises: “Discover how to lead and grow your business while enjoying personal time.”

That used to be a challenge for me. I can recall too many times when I passed on a weekend by the Huzzah because I was too busy. I had to learn how to clear many of the roadblocks George Sotiropoulos outlines in this great book.

“Roadblocks…” is this month’s selection for the Mastermind Book Club.

Every month, Ted Prodromou and I choose a great business book for Club members to read. On the fourth Thursday (July 25 this month), we meet online to discuss the book and how we may apply its lessons to our businesses.

You don’t have to read the book to join and benefit from the conversation.

And this month, we’ll have the author in the room. George will join us to dive deep, share additional insights, and answer questions.

The Club is free to join. Once you become a member, you’ll receive notices about our events — including the Zoom links.

Don't go away yet..

5) Invite me to speak at an event: I can tailor a presentation that meets the specific needs of your organization. Informative. Entertaining. Virtual or live. Potential for continuing education credits when applicable for your group. If interested, reply to this email and change the subject line to “Speaking Engagement.” I’ll circle back to discuss the possibilities.
