The Secret to Inspire Prospects to Buy — Without Pushing and Prodding

book reading

I finished reading a great book last night.

Flip the Script – Getting People to Think Your Idea is Their Idea by Oren Klaff.

My friend Ted Prodromou (a.k.a “America’s leading LinkedIn coach) chose it as this month’s selection for the Mastermind Book Club.

I’m glad he did because it’s a great book.

We’ll discuss it tomorrow (Dec. 16, 1 p.m. ET, 12 p.m. CT) during the Club’s December meeting.

If youĀ join the clubĀ between now and then, we’ll send you the Zoom link (and you’ll get the recording). You don’t have to read the book to attend and benefit from the meeting.Ā

Here’s the idea behind the book, from Klaff’s website:Ā

“…people are sick of being marketed and sold to. Most of all, they hate being told what to think. The more you push them, the more they resist. What people love, however, is coming up with a great idea on their own, even if it’s the idea you were guiding them to have all along. Often, the only way to get someone to sign is to make them feel like they’re smarter than you.”

The book reveals a simple framework to help you do that.

We’ll discuss that framework — and how you can implement it in your business — at the meeting tomorrow.Ā

More about the Mastermind Book Club

Every month, Ted and I choose a book for club members to discuss. The club is free to join. Here’s aĀ link to join.

You can read the book ā€“ but only IF YOU WANT TO.

In the MBC community, members will share short videos, blog posts, and other conversation-starters.

You can comment and participate in any conversation you choose…

…or you can start your own post/conversation.

Every month, we gather online for a Book Club meeting.

The idea:

āœ“ Share insights drawn from the book.

āœ“ Discuss how to apply those insights to improve your business.

āœ“ Celebrate success as you or other members implement

āœ“Ā The key word above: IMPLEMENT.
