The Right and Wrong Way to Get Prospects to Tune In

zoom

I dozed off during a Zoom meeting yesterday.

I couldn’t help it. I was tired, and the speaker was BO-ring.

Thankfully, my camera wasn’t on so no one caught me.

In olden days in Great Britain, they might have called me a “sluggard.” (That’s a fancy English word for “lazy person.”)

In the 18th-century, British churches employed “sluggard wakers.”

The sluggard waker would walk around the church during services…

…look for people dozing off…

…and whack the sleepy-heads on the back of the noggin with a stout wooden rod. (What a quaint way to say, “Thou must wakest now!”)

Seems to me those churches got it backwards.

Rather than hire sluggard wakers to punish those who tuned out…

…they should have hired Boredom Busters to help the ministers create content that keeps parishioners (even the sleepy ones) tuned-in, fired up, and wide awake.

So it goes in 18th century British churches. So it goes with 21st century marketers.

Too many struggling business owners blame everything EXCEPT their content when prospects tune out and move on.

Those businesses need a Boredom Buster to save them.

Earlier this week, I launched a new do-it-with-you workshop called the 7-Figure Content Formula.

I could have named it the Boredom Busting Content Formula.

If you choose to sign up, you’ll discover how to unleash a flood of content ideas, assemble client-attracting content, and conquer writerā€™s block ā€“ so you can stand out as the human to hire in your niche and skyrocket profits.

I conducted the first session live on Monday. I can send you the recording and tell you how to catch the rest of the sessions live.

Just reply to this email with “wakest up” and I’ll send you what you need.
