The “One Thing” That’s Helped me More Than Any Other…

I have a stack of newsletters Dan Kennedy wrote in 2001 – when the economy was “bad” and most business owners were in retreat. 

In the August 2001 issue, Dan told a story about a business owner who refused to invest in his “Magnetic Marketing” program. 

The business owner said, “If I did (purchase it), it’d just sit on a shelf and gather dust.”

Dan’s take: “The more accurate answer would be: ‘I would let it sit on a shelf and gather dust.’” 

Courses, trainings, and books don’t decide. 

They can’t choose to sit on a shelf and gather dust. 

They don’t have initiative — or lack thereof.

They can’t choose, during “challenging times,” between forging ahead while others retreat versus waiting for the “bad economy” to punish them. 

YOU choose. YOU decide…
…whether to sit still and gather dust…
…or ACT. 

I learned from Dan Kennedy the “one thing everyday rule.”

Do (at least) one thing each and every day to directly generate new business. 

Seems obvious when you first read that, but…

…ask yourself… 

…What did you do yesterday to directly generate new business? 

And the day before yesterday? 

And the day before that? 

What will you do today? 

And tomorrow? 

And the day after tomorrow? 

It’s your choice whether to act.
