Storytelling’s Power — Beyond Marketing

1250x672

Last week I posted a video on social media about completing the final draft of my upcoming book.

In case you missed it, you can see the video here:Ā LinkedInĀ orĀ Facebook.

If you comment and say, “Put me on the list,” I’ll send you a .pdf copy before the book appears on Amazon.

My high school pal, Alison posted a smart comment on Facebook. She was a very successful business executive for a major corporation before retiring early and traveling the globe. She understands storytelling’s power.

“Iā€™m interested in purchasing (the book),” she wrote. “Lessons on effective storytelling to help decision making and conveying message extends to even non business everyday circumstances as well!”

Amen, Alison. Here’s how I put it in the book’s introduction:

This book will show you how to craft powerful stories so your followers will know, like and trust you. So they will respect you. So they will hire you.

But this is not just another book about marketing and sales. Nor is it written just for marketers. This book will make you a better leader. This book will make you a better coach, consultant, or professional service provider. This book will make you a better coworker, friend, and family member.

Why? Because this bookā€”and the frameworks, skills, and habits you learn hereā€”will enable you to build stronger, longer-lasting human connections. It will help you empathize. It will help you ask the right questions, and deliver answers clearly, concisely, and creatively.

This book will not only help you inspire and transform others. It will inspire and guide you to transform yourself.

How do I know? Because Iā€™ve experienced the transformation. My mission: Help you experience the same.

If you want that early-bird .pdf copy of the book, visit my posts (LinkedInĀ orĀ Facebook) and add a comment.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend.
