OMG! I Thought They Might Kill Her

live

I’ve had things go wrong during live presentations.

But I’ve never had a client die.

So imagine my horror when a blood-thirsty mob went after my client Lynn as she dished out some know-how during my online roundtable last night.

Lynn was listing all she does to turn webinar registrants into clients.

Long list:

  • Send reminder emails to get registrants to attend.
  • Send follow-up emails to get attendees to schedule a consultation.
  • Send more reminder emails to get consultation-schedulers to show up.

And so on.

The chat exploded with crazy-mob howls.

“Auuuurrrggggghhhhh!” cried a frothing roundtabler.

“Exactly!” barked another.

“Hell no!” said a third.

I braced myself for someone to scream, “Off with her head!”

Poor Lynn. Hounded by the mob…

…even though she was 100% right.

If you want to turn leads into engaged prospects…

…and engaged prospects into clients…

…you have to follow up and follow up and follow up some more.

Funny thing, though…

The mob was right, too.

The idea of doing all the stuff Lynn listed can make a grown business owner cry (“Auuuurrrggggghhhhh!”).

“It’s hard enough to create great messages to attract leads and inspire them to act. Now I have to build a bunch of follow-up funnels!?! Hell no!”

I get it. Been there. Felt that.

So I don’t blame you if you feel that way, too.

But (back to Lynn), this stuff has to get done if you want to grow your business.

“No way. Not gonna do that!” isn’t a viable marketing strategy.

During the roundtable last night, I shared some marketing strategies that calmed the angry mob.

Ways to create client-getting messages without writer’s block.

Tips to turn tech from a headache to a helper.

A simple approach to line up a team of trusted experts who can do the hell-no-not-me dirty work…

…so you can be free to focus on getting/serving clients, reaping profits, and enjoying your life.

Message. Tech. Team. The MT&T Trifecta. You need all three, strong and in balance, to build a business that works for you.

I’m not sharing the roundtable recording.

But based on the feedback I’ve received (the angry mob transformed from “Hell no! I can’t do this!” to “Hell yes! I see the path to progress!”)…

…I may host another roundtable soon…

…if I hear from enough people who tell me they’re interested.

What do you think? Should I host another roundtable at a time that works for you?

Please reply and let me know.
