Happy Word Nerd Day.
I’m celebrating…
…because…
…well…
…I’m a word nerd!
(say it loud and say it proud).
Some nerds are all about the big words. They dish out grandiloquent content (”Grandiloquent?” Look it up).
I’m more of a word-play guy.
I go for short words.
I love me a good rhyme.
“Word-nerd?” Nice and short. Good rhyme!

…choose short words and word-play (rhymes, alliteration, words that everyone understands) over grandiloquence.
Write with personality not pompous-ness (a.k.a. pomposity).
