Gratitude Snippets
A long, long time ago, I used to post “Gratitude Snippets” on Facebook.
Most days, I would post a short message, expressing gratitude for something or someone.
Sometimes I expressed gratitude for the server at the restaurant who was having a hard day but still met me with a smile.
Sometimes I thanked a client for choosing me and being great to work with.
Sometimes I thanked Mom or Day or Melissa or our twins.
The content mattered, of course — but perhaps not as much as the practice — reflecting on reasons to be grateful.
Such reflection is good for us. And I hoped that sharing gratitude snippets was good and inspiring for those who saw them.
For some reason, though, I stopped posting them…
…until today.
