[Invitation] Escape The Inertia Trap

Fun fact about me: I invested more than $50,000 last year in coaching and mastermind groups to elevate my business and me.

And the coaches and mastermind leaders I work with all say they invest similar amounts (or more) to elevate their game.

Why tell you this now?

Because today is the day (in 1676) when Isaac Newton wrote to fellow scientist Robert Hooke and said:

“If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants.”

Amen to that, Sir Isaac.

If Newton had not stood on the shoulders of giants, I’m sure others would have eventually seen what he saw and done what he did (gravity, calculus, the first reflecting telescope, etc.).

That’s the point.

If you don’t stand on the shoulders of giants, your competitors will. They’ll see and go further, and…

…you’ll get left behind.

Yesterday, I met a business owner who said he’s going to pause investments in marketing and coaching until he sees “how the economy shakes out.”

In uncertain times, some pause, wait for forces beyond their control to “shake out,” and hope things resolve in their favor.

Their businesses suffer from what Newton called INERTIA.

Others pull out the ladder, climb onto big, tall shoulders, see further, and accomplish more.

My advice to you: Don’t sit still. Inert businesses fall behind and fail.

Which leads me to a giant invitation:
