Stalled in The Red Zone? How to Score More…
It’s Super Bowl week…
…which means it’s time for a story fueled by football metaphors. 🏈
A few months ago, during a meeting of my Content Transformation Academy, I asked members if they had content projects stalled on the 5-yard line. Projects nearly finished but not pushed across the goal line.
Everyone in the room raised their hands.
One said he had recorded an on-demand webinar, written promotional and follow-up emails, but hadn’t launched it.
Another had published a book, sketched out a web page to promote it, but hadn’t launched it.
And yet another had drafted emails for an ongoing nurture campaign to convert prospects to clients but hadn’t launched it.
In football, they call that stalling in the red zone, and…
…when you consistently stall in the red zone, you lose.
All of this led me — the marketing coach — to revise my gameplan.
It wasn’t enough to help my clients create great webinars, landing page outlines, and emails.
They needed help getting that content in front of the right people at the right time. They needed help carrying the ball across the goal line.
When I examined their red-zone failures, I noticed common issues:
- TECH Hurdles. For many, tech was a headache, not a helper. They may have known what to do, but they felt stuck and frustrated because tech (or lack thereof) made everything feel harder.
- An Inadequate TEAM. You can quarterback your business, but you can’t win the game if you don’t have teammates block, tackling, catching/carrying the ball. Many of my clients had great tech tools, but they were playing the game alone or with an incomplete team. Everything depended on them, and it was too much.
I revised the gameplan to solve these problems. I call the gameplan:
The MT&T Trifecta.
Message, Tech, & Team. You must have all three in balance if you want to drive the field, blast through the red zone, and score.
On Thursday, I will open the playbook and share it with you during my “Tech-to-Profit Blueprint Training.”
I’ll reveal how to:
✅ Create winning content that attracts leads and lands clients (without ever having to punt because of writer’s block).
✅ Transform tech from a headache to a helper so you become more efficient than Patrick Mahomes two-minute drill.
✅ Build a powerful team (without creating hiring and management hassles) that will do the blocking, tackling, and running so you score more and stall less.
Here are the training details:
When: Thursday, February 6; 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT
Where: Live online. You’ll get the link when you reserve your seat.
